Chung Tin Hon Aaron 鍾天瀚, Baritone Saxophone

Chung Tin Hon Aaron is a fourth-year student pursuing his bachelor degree in music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in saxophone under Mr. Michael Campbell.

 

He studied at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 2017-2018 as an exchange student, where he studied under Dr. Steven Stusek for saxophone, and Dr. Mark Engebretson and Dr. Alejandro Rutty for music composition. Upon returning to Hong Kong, he studied under Prof. Wendy Lee and Dr. Lo Hau Man.

 

Chung is also active in various musical performances. He is currently a member of the Chung Chi Wind Orchestra and Holiday Sax.

Lam Wing Sum Melody 林穎心, Tenor Saxophone

Lam Wing Sum is currently a year one music student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in saxophone under the tutelage of Dr. Jennifer To.

 

Lam was a member of The Hong Kong Academy of Performance Arts Junior Music Program, she was also the principle saxophonist of Diocesan Girls’ School Wind Band. She achieved a LTCL Recital in Saxophone performance at Trinity College with distinction in 2016. In 2017, Lam participated the Summer Saxophone Academy held by Indiana University Jacob School of Music.

Lam is currently a member of CUHK Chung Chi Wind Orchestra.

Chui Wing Yi 徐頴怡, Alto Saxophone

CHUI Wing-yi began her music and saxophone studies with Mr. Carl CHOI at her early ages. Later, she studied saxophone with Mr. Maxwell FUNG and Mr. Charles NG. She was given opportunities to learn from Maestros Dr. Kenneth TSE and Mr. Vincent DAVID as well.

 

CHUI is currently a music undergrdaduate in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in saxophone under the tutelage of Mr. Michael Campbell. She actively participates in ensemble playing including chamber music ensemble, jazz ensemble, etc.

 

Being enthusiastic in local music groups, CHUI is a member of Hong Kong Festival Wind Orchestra, Hong Kong Festival Youth Wind Orchestra and Chung Chi Wind Orchestra, and participated in various international music festivals in countries such as Japan, South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore.
 

Wong Shing Yan Alvin 黃承恩, Soprano Saxophone

Wong Shing-yan, Alvin, is a current year 4 music student in CUHK. Having saxophone as his major instrument, Alvin is currently studying with Dr. Tak-chiu Wong and Mr. Michael Campbell. Alvin is active in ensemble groups like Chung Chi Wind Orchestra, Hong Kong Youth Saxophone Choir, and Only One Jazz Orchestra. In Summer 2018, Alvin was selected by the Asian Youth Orchestra and followed the performance tour as a saxophonist and pianist, there he was also commissioned to arrange an orchestral version of the Ayase Citizens’ Song, which was performed in the Japanese city to celebrate the city’s 40th anniversary.

 

Alvin is also studied composition in CUHK, his previous teachers includes Prof. Victor Chan, Prof. Wendy Lee and Dr. Hau-man Lo. Recently, Alvin collaborated to write the piece the Labyrinth of Rays, which was premiered by the Chung Chi Orchestra to honour Prof. Victor Chan’s retirement from CUHK Music Department.
