Zhao Kun Mao Sunny, Flute
Sunny Zhao is a year 1 music student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in flute. She studied under Mr.Nelson Wong since 2017 and also received training from Thomas Hancox, the principal flute of Northern Ballet and co-principal flute of Britten Sinfonia. Currently, she is studying under the tutelage of Ms.Izaskun Erdocia. As an orchestral flautist, Sunny performed and participated in the musical programme “Music Man” in 2018.
Ngai Hei Lam Jasmine, Vocal
Ngai Hei Lam Jasmine is currently a year 1 music student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Apart from majoring in organ under the tutelage of Dr. Anne Lam, she is also minoring voice under Ms Ip Po Ching Yuki. Jasmine has been participating in choirs since childhood, including the Opera Hong Kong Children Chorus and the Hong Kong Children’s Choir, where she performed in various events conducted by renowned conductors Alex Tam and Vivian Ip, including the Winter Choral Festival Concert 2015 and Asia Pacific Choral Summit 2019. As a chorister, she attended masterclasses by Ēriks Ešenvalds and Chan Siu Kwan. Currently Jasmine is a member of the Chamber Youth of The Hong Kong Children's Choir. As an ensemble vocalist, she also attended a masterclass by mezzo-soprano Carol Lin.
As a versatile musician, Jasmine acted as the Music Director of the St. Mary’s Canossian College annual musical production in 2019. She is also a holder of the Trinity College London ATCL Performance diploma in piano and was trained as a violinist. She is currently a violinist in the Chung Chi Orchestra.
Hung Sum Yee Sammi, Piano
Hung Sum Yee Sammi is currently a year one music student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in piano under the tutelage of Miss Wang Ai Man. Sammi started learning the piano at the age of six. She was awarded distinctions in both her grade eight examination and the performance diploma of the Associate Board of Royal Schools of Music.
Sammi was also active in many music competitions and performances. She was a member of the choir and recorder band at Wa Ying College. In school, she sang and performed piano in music and singing contests. She also participated in the Hong Kong School Music Festivals every year and was awarded in madrigal singing and recorder playing. Moreover, she frequently appeared as pianist accompanying vocalists in concerts such as Hong Kong City Choir 20th Anniversary Concert and the Hong Kong School Music Festivals.
