Lo Tak Chun Jovi 盧德晉, Percussion

Lo Tak-chun Jovi is currently a first-year undergraduate student at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in percussion under the tutelage of Ms. Sophia Woo. Lo was the principal percussionist of Hong Kong Youth Symphonic Band (HKYSB), and toured Chiayi, Taiwan and Hamamatsu, Japan with HKYSB. He has attended masterclasses by world-renowned percussionists, including Dr. Wei-chen Lin, Jeff Stern and Li Biao Percussion Group. In 2017, Lo received tuition under the baton of Maestro Mr. Kuok-man LIU, and the tuition from principal Timpanist of Philadelphia Orchestra Mr. Don S. Liuzzi. In May 2019, he was selected to perform Nathan Daughtrey’s Black Rainbow with Dr. Erik Forst, as well as other young percussionists in Hong Kong with HKYSB. Lo is currently the percussionist of Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra and CUHK Chung Chi Wind Orchestra. He also serves as the conductor of the CUHK Student Orchestra.
