蔡佑杰 Choi Yau Kit, Donald

Piano

Choi Yau-kit is a year one student majoring in music at the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a Chung Chi Alumni Scholarship for Excellence. He studies voice with Mr. Luk Kin-chi Enico, and is also a pianist under the tutelage of Mr. Tony Tsang Tak-chee, having performed in masterclasses by Dr. Mary Wu and Prof. Jackson Leung. He has worked as a collaborative pianist within choral, orchestral and chamber settings.


He was the chairperson of his school choir and now sings actively as a tenor in various choirs like the Chung Chi Choir, Aqua Voice and Die Jungen Konzertisten. He sang at the Hong Kong Arts Festival as an opera chorus member, as well as with the Estonian National Male Choir. He was featured as a soloist at concerts by the Chung Chi Choir and the CUHK Early Music Ensemble.

Choi gained conducting experience in his alma mater, Munsang College, with the chamber orchestra and the choir, which led he led to win a Gold Award at the Schools Creative Music Showcase.
