Wong Yeuk Kiu Matthew 王躍喬, Violin

Currently Studying the Bachelor of Arts in Music in CUHK, Wong Yeuk Kiu was awarded FTCL Piano Recital and LTCL Violin Recital with Distinction, under the tutelage of Ms. Chan, Sham Siu Wai Sylvia and Mr. Ng Ka Ming respectively.

 

In regard to scholarships he received, he was presented with Most Outstanding Trainee Award of the Musicianship Stream in the year of 2015-2016 by Music Office, HKSAR. Besides, he is awarded with Lo Pik Yu Summer Piano Exchange Scholarship in Chung Chi College, supporting his participation in Lancaster International Piano Festival 2019.

 

Apart from having solo performances in both piano and violin, he engages in various ensembles actively, taking the role of an accompanist on piano and a violinist. He was a first violinist in Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, joining the International Music Festival EURASIA in Yekaterinburg, Russia in 2015. During his study in university, he is a first violinist in Chung Chi Orchestra, CUHK, as well as an accompanist for a number of musicians.
