郭倩晴 Kwok Shin Ching, Elby

Kwok Shin-ching, Elby is currently a year 4 music student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, majoring in violin under the tutelage of Ms. Sung Ai-Chang Aimee and Dr. Joseph Kam. Kwok is an active orchestral player: she is currently a violinist at the Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong, and was a member of the Hong Kong Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Ponte Orchestra, and Share the Stage with HKPhil 2013. She is also an active oboist currently playing for the Chung Chi Orchestra and the Hong Kong City Philharmonia.

 

As a composer, her pieces have been selected to for CUHK’s Bauhinia Concert and Papillon Blue’s Acapella Annual Concert. She was also invited to compose for the CUHK Art Museum. Kwok is a recipient of the Composers and Authors Society of Hong Kong Ltd. Scholarship in 2017/2018.
