

陳家熙 CHAN Ka-hei
Clarinet
Chan Ka-hei is currently a year 1 music student at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He started learning the clarinet at the age of seven with Ms. Fanny Lau. At the age of 15, he achieved an FTCL Recital in clarinet performance at Trinity College London. He has attended masterclasses by Mr. Andrew Simon, Mr. John Schertle, Mr. Pierre Pichler and Ms. Ayako Oshima. He currently studies under Mr. Andrew Simon.
Since 2009, Chan has been a member of the Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra. He was the principal clarinet of the orchestra from 2013 to 2015, and has performed several times with the orchestra as a clarinet soloist. In 2016, he successfully held his first clarinet recital in the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre. Chan also performed with the Pan Asia Symphony Orchestra as a soloist in 2016, and is currently a member of the Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong.
